Pilates Changed My Life

I have always wanted to be the model-skinny girl I seen on the TV. But as luck would have it, carrying around an extra 50+ pounds was more my style. I couldn’t shake the weight no matter how hard I tried. And believe me when I say that I tried everything.

Once I discovered Manhattan Pilates, however, things began to take a turn for the better, and while I am still not at my target weight, I sure am much closer to being the girl that I always dreamed that I would be day. Pilates is hard and a challenge, but it is rewarding.

Pilates is a challenge, and I won’t lie and say that it is not. I thought about quitting several times. But my personal trainer was awesome and he kept pushing me and encouraging me. It was so amazing, and certainly nothing that I had ever before experienced in my entire life.

The exercise helps you strengthen your core muscles, or those muscles that give us the tire roll on the stomach, and those around the back. If you have back problems, Pilates is something that will help you eliminate those.

As I began changing my diet and listening to the advice of my personal trainer, I began to see the weight coming off of my body. I couldn’t believe it, especially considering that I had tried so many different techniques over the years and none of them seems to do anything. The results that I have seen with Pilates are amazing to say the least.

I recommend Manhattan Pilates for you, too. Talk to your doctor. Make sure that you are healthy enough to participate, and then get out there and do this. I chose to hire a trainer for one-on-one attention, but if this is not something that you desire to do there are many Pilates classes throughout the area as well.

Pilates has changed my life and I plan to continue doing it for a long time to come. You will not believe the results unless you do it for yourself, so stop all of that procrastinating and take charge of your life.
