Create a Valentine's Day Couple's Workout For Clients

Every NY Personal Trainer needs to know how to create a couple's workout. One of the hottest new trends for Valentine’s Day is to celebrate together by training together. This goes in keeping with the push to make lifestyles healthier. It also means that the more message put out by trainers that it’s the whole life that has to be worked, not just the body – is starting to take hold. There are two different types of couples you will meet, one's you know and one's you don't. Each requires a different approach.

Make sure you can get the space

Before you start booking for the day you had better check with the personal training NYC gym or studio you are using to make sure they have space for you. If you have your own space it shouldn't be a problem. You probably won't be able to use your normal client time for the session as the time will have to accommodate two people's schedule, not just one. Once you know you have session time available book away.

The difference between the known and unknown

If you know one or both of the participants, putting the workout together will be easy. Even if you only know one, asked them about their partner and their interest. If you don't know either person you need to find out if they are training with someone already. That will give you a clue as to their fitness and interest. Then you want to create a workout that focuses on collaboration and flexibility. Stay away from strength, but have it in the back of your mind. The reason for that is you don't know their actual fitness levels and don't want an injury to happen. You also don't want to set up a competitive session, collaboration is the Valentine's buzz word.   And the buzz for the NY personal trainer would be to gain a lovely new client on Valentine’s Day.
